Herbal ley project wins Teagasc award at BT Young Scientist 2020

Many congratulations to Darren Kiely, Bevin Murphy and Omar Daly, Millstreet Community School, Cork on winning the BT Young Scientist Teagasc Special Award 2020.

The project investigated if herbal leys could match or outdo the productivity of intensive farming and their influence on milk production. Their analysis found that similar levels of milk production could be achieved on the herbal ley system. Read More.
